Want to own a piece of American History ? Absolutely Guaranteed 100% Authentic Artifact , around 150 years old .These pipes were( recovered ) unearthed approx 200 yards from Ulysses S Grant's birth place with permission of the owners.Grant was the 18th. President of the U.S. from 1869 - 1877 . Grant was born in small house in the year 1822 , just up the road from the pipe site.The pipe site has been worked out , so what you see on ebay up for auction will eventually end.I have been collecting for many years and have sold quite a few pipes . ( 5200 pipes in my collection overall ). I display them all over Oh ,Ky, and Indiana at Artifact shows.Many of the winners of my auctions are repeat customers.I am a 8 year member of " THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF OHIO ". So bid with confidence .Up for Auction are 20 pipes that were manufactured in the 1850's . They are made of Clay and Terracotta (t are 5 different makes ) .The pipes are from Point Pleasant, Clermont County, Ohio .Legally obtained by ebay standards .The ones in the pictures will be the ones you will receive . Production of these tobacco pipe began with Cornwall E Kirkpatrick in Circa. 1849 . And by 1870 was owned by Nathan S. Davis ( Per: Northeast Historical Archaeology Vol. 5, Nos. 1-2 ).The pipes made from this factory used a section of river cane for the stem. Many of these
