1999 - 2000 ROYAL MINT MILLENNIUM £5 FIVE POUND CROWN COIN This is an Official Royal Mint Brilliant Uncirculated £5 coin issued for Great Britain in 2000 The first £5 coin of the New Millennium In 1999, to commemorate the Millennium, The Royal Mint struck a Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated £5 Five Pound Crown Coin.In the centre, on a patterned circle on the reverse, there is a representation of the British Isles with a pair of clock hands emanating from Greenwich , set at 12 o'clock with the inscription "Anno Domini" with the denomination "five pounds" and dated "1999" and "2000" designed by Jeffrey Matthews.The obverse design is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley. The coin is protected in a plastic seal and this is incorporated into the Official Royal Mint presentation folder, which is in excellent condition.
