This 5 box set was sent to people who ordered the new 2002 Thunderbird and had to wait 12-18 months for their car to arrive. One of these boxes was sent every 2-3 months. The program was known as the "Manage the Wait" program This set is in MINT condition and is still in the orginal shipping cardboard box from Ford Motor Co. The boxes have only been opened and removed once....to take these pictures. The five black boxes contain a book about the new Thunderbird...each one a hard cover book in one of the five orginal car colors....yellow, white, red, black and Thunderbird blue. Box 1 also contains a beautiful set of stainless steel bookends with a glass portholes Box 2 also contained a set of static clings Box 3 the book contains upholsetry samples Box 4 also contains a red diecast model in 1:25 scale Box 5 the book was a journal to write about your Thunderbird experiences. This is THE most coveted collectible for owners of 2002-2005 Thunderbirds...and you will never find another mint condition...never out of the box set like this one.
