The 2003 Collection of Australian Stamps - Hardback Book Here we have for auction this fabulous collectable set of Australian stamps, all from the same year, issued at the end of the year by the Australian Postal Authority, with a collection of that year's mint hinged stamps. It is beautifully presented in a hard cover book with matching slip case and contains background stories of the stamps and their designers. The book contains all the traditional gummed stamps issued in Australia that year, with full colour pages of photographs and illustrations. Stamp mounts are affixed to the relevant pages for easy insertion, and Australian Antarctic Territory stamps are also included. We have a large collection of these books that have been donated to us, spanning the years 1981 to 2004 inclusive - please see our other listings for details. Some of the books have been completed, with the stamps inserted into the mounts, whilst others have been opened but the stamps still in their pack, waiting to be inserted and still others are complete, unopened and sealed. This one is completed. Each book weighs just under 1kg - we are happy to post worldwide, but postage costs will increase with each one won, although they will be combined and sent at cost. Max postage cost to Europe - £15-20 for multiple books (£8 for one) - RoW - £25-£45 for multiple copies (£13 for one). Any questions, please ask via our eBay messaging facility. Buy It Now - we often get messages asking for Buy It Now prices on our items. Because we are a charity and need to raise as much as possible for the items we sell, we prefer to keep each listing as an auction and therefore do not have a Buy It Now price, unless the item is already listed with such a price. IMPORTANT!! Please read before bidding Postage Costs Due to Royal Mail's new weight and sizing restrictions, we will send your item by one of a number of methods - please check the listing for details. Small Parcels and Large Letters will continue to be sent via Royal Mail. Medium Parcels (over 8cm in thickness) will be sent by 2-3 day courier to keep costs down, as the new prices mean that postage costs have more than doubled (most parcels previously £2.70 now cost £5.65!) Please do not mark us down in your ratings for postage cost - we do not make any money on postage and what you have paid is - to within a few pence - what it has actually cost to post your item. It only takes 3 bad ratings in a year for us to lose our Top Seller status. We reserve the right to ask for extra postage costs for certain UK postcodes, if not using Royal Mail - i.e. courier charges to offshore islands or Northern Ireland cost us extra. Our Listings The items sold by Age UK South Lakeland are donated to us by members of the public. We have checked them for damage and described them accurately to the best of our ability, but we are not experts!
