For Your Consideration Is This Amazing Set 2004 Cook Island Elizabeth II and Ronald Reagan Proof Set $200 1 oz ( 1.00 AGW) gold coin and $1 silver coin. This set consists of 2 coins in a snap shut velvet blue case. Each coin is encased in the original holder from the mint. These coins have only been removed from holder once and that was for these scans. Gold coin has a mirror like(Cameo) brilliant finish and are quite remarkable. The Elizabeth II is the famous Raphael Maklouf engraving(RDM) In 2004 the Cook Island Elizabeth II/Ronald Reagan $200 gold coin weighs a total of 31.1 grams and consists of 1 oz. Actual Gold Weight(AGW. The $1 Silver Coin weighs a total of 19 grams. For a reference the coins are very close in diameter to a Morgan Silver dollar Coin is legal tender in the Cook Islands. This Coin is also one of a few legal tender coins that have been produced throughout the World. The $200 Gold Reagan was produced in very limited numbers. My asking price is also hundreds of dollars below the current $1400 bullion price which has been predicted to raise even more dramatically due to the turmoil in the Middle East. Nevermind that gold is also used in so many items these days-communication, sunglasses, cell phones, jewelry, etc and the products will keep growing.
