This auction is for a 2005 McFarlane Toys, Mcfarlane's Sports Picks, Hardwood Classics, NBA Legends series 1, Wilt (the stilt) Chamberlain chase action figure in a yellow, 1968-1978 Los Angeles Lakers uniform. This figure is not simply a repainted version of the regular Wilt Chamberlain in a 1965-1968 Philadelphia 76ers uniform. This figure has wrist bands and an "old school" sweat band with the elastic string that would go around the back of the players head (the sweat band on this figure is sculpted on the head of the figure). Also, this figure has a different hair style in comparison to the regular figure. The sides of the plastic clamshell is crushed. I purchased this piece from a major chain toy store's website back in 2005 and I received the figure in a padded envelope, instead of a box.
