2005 Playoffs Robert McCune Game Worn Washington Redskins Jersey This jersey was worn by Washington Redskins Linebacker Robert McCune during Hall of Fame Coach Joe Gibbs last Playoff victory on January 7, 2006, as well as other games during the 2005 Season. It features 5 team repairs (shown in Photos 3, 4, 5 and 6) and various hit marks/paint transfers, most of which are shown in the photos. In Photo 3 you can see a team repair within the hole of the "9" on the left shoulder (as viewed from the front of the jersey), as well as a few hit marks on and around the "9". The blue marks that appear are the freshest looking, and those are probably from the Divisional Playoff Game against the Seattle Seahawks on January 14, 2006, which is the last time this jersey would have been used. In Photo 4, you see two large repairs by the shoulder seam near the Reebok logo, as well as another small team repair at the center of the photo. It is at this small repair that you see clear evidence that the jersey was used in more than one game, as there is a paint transfer that was made right onto the raised stitching of the repair, meaning that the transfer occured after the repair, which in turn would have of course occured after an earlier game. In Photo 5, you see one paint transfer, possibly from McCune's own facemask, and the last of the repairs. read more
