" RETIRED HALLMARK ORNAMENTS FOR SALE "'' Die-cast Metal and Handcrafted Christmas Ornament Dated 2006 KIDDIE CAR CLASSICS 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Thirteenth (13th) and final in the series. QX2343. Hallmark Keepsake Artist Don Palmiter. I have most of the series of the Kiddie Car Classics 1st one is dated 1994,and I have 1995,1996,1997,1998,1999,2000,2001,2002,2003,2004 I could possibly have the 2005 as well it is just not in the box with my others. (I have not put these up for auction yet on Ebay). In 1964, the sporty new Mustang was the hottest car on the street, and "Mustang mania" was sweeping the nation. Even kids, were invited to share in the fun as pedal car versions began appearing alongside their larger counterparts at Ford dealerships across the country. Although the full-size car still holds the record for the most first-year automobile sales, the Mustang pedal car sold a staggering 93,000 units that Christmas, making it the toy sensation of the season and one of the most popular kiddie cars ever. Price tag of $14.00 attached. Ornament in mint condition. Ornament has never been displayed. Your ornament will come in a box that the car has never been out of I used my own ornament for the pictures.
