2006 W Burnished Silver Eagle NGC MS-70 This 2006 W American Silver Eagle dollar coin is certified by NGC, one of the top-tier grading services. The grade is a perfect MS-70 with a low population in this lofty grade. This legal-tender silver dollar contains one full ounce of .999 fine silver bullion. The coin is totally white and the eye appeal is outstanding. This Inuagural-Issue Silver Eagle coin was minted at the West Point Mint and has the coveted W mint mark. Beginning in 2006, these special edition Silver Eagles were struck at West Point on specially prepared, burnished planchets with beautiful satin/matte surfaces. T were a mere 200,000 of these 2006 W first-year-of-issue Silver Eagles made for individual sales by the U.S. Mint. They were encapsulated and individually boxed for sales to collectors. By population, this coin is arguably the key date for the American Silver Eagle series. These coins, especially the ones graded by the top-tier grading services, are in strong demand. In many of the hobby publications and price guides, these coins are listed as high as $550. I purchased this Silver Eagle from the U.S. Mint. It was stored in a climate-controlled vault until it was sent to NGC for grading. The holder is also in pristine condition.A Buy-It-Now price is initially listed, but once a bid is placed the listing reverts to read more
