You are bidding on an Original USA Made W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Crandall Cutlery Company Limited Edition Mint Set. This is set #129 out of a production limit of 250. The date manufactued printed on the label is 10/02/07. This set was designed to commemorate William Russell Case's son-in-law Herbert Crandall. Herbert Crandall moved his jobbing company - Little Valley Knife Association to Bradford, Pennsylvania w he started his own factory - Crandall Cutlery Company. This factory opened in 1905, and remained in operation until 1911 when Crandall merged with W.R. Case & Sons.
Each knife features exclusive Crandall Jigged Classic Green Bone handles with Crandall Cutlery Company Bowtie Shield. The Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel blades are embellished with the "Crandall Company" logo. The knives have the Case "Long Tail C" consecutive serialization and the bolsters are intricately scrolled. A handsome hardwood display with the Case Genuine Collectable medallion showcases the entire set.
