This 2007-W Early Release American Silver Eagle dollar is graded and certified MS69 by NGC. This Silver Eagle was struck on a burnished blank (also known as planchets). A common mistake is that the actual dies are burnished, when it is the blanks themselves that are burnished before being struck with the die. Burnishing is a process resulting in a smooth matte-like finish. These coins were only made at the West Point Mint and bear the "W" Mint Mark. This Silver Eagle is 1-oz of Fine Silver bullion coin. The obverse is the Liberty Walking designed by Adolph A. Weinman and the reverse is a heraldic eagle designed by John Mercanti. This nearly perfect coin will make a great silver bullion collection.
