First Day of Issue 2007-P (Pos A/Pos B) and 2007-D (Pos A/Pos B) James Madison Presidential Dollars PCGS Graded at MS66 and MS65 ! Here's the Blah Blah Blah. Please Read The First Day of Issue slab insert is a Special PCGS Slab Insert similar to the Silver American Eagle FIRST STRIKE™ Slab Insert. There is no special significance to the insert from a numismatic standpoint but the insert adds a different dimension to the collecting of the Presidential Dollars. This insert used to be available to anybody with a big enough wallet to submit 100 of these coins at a time but has since been limited to only "Authorized PCGS Dealers". The net result is that fewer and fewer submissions for the First Day of Issue are occuring on the PCGS side of the house. Up for your consideration are two nicely graded coins. Both are First Day of Issue PCGS Slabs and are a good opportunity to begin a collection of First Day of Issue (FDI) Presidential Dollars . These can even be used in a standard Presidential Dollar Set . The Presidential Dollar series began in 2007 and will continue until each past President of the United States has been honored on one of these coins.
