Never made in silver and copied from the popular Austrian Mints gold bullion design with a gorgeous "proof-like" finish . I personally like this coin better then the silver eagle. The design is so much more intricate & the finish is more like a proof coin then the matt finish on the eagle. This is sure to be the key year for collectors. The first year always has a higher collectors value. The design is simply stunning. The obverse features the instruments of the world famous Philharmonic orchestra while the reverse depicts the great organ of the Golden Hall in Vienna, site of the annual New Year’s Day Concert.
