For sale is my near-perfect condition 2008 Rickenbacker 4003 Left Handed Bass Guitar. I've owned the bass for 12 months (bought on eBay myself), I love it, but over the past few months I've found that I'm a Fender man, I just prefer the sound of Fenders. So I don't play it very often and so I think it's best to sell it so someone else gets to enjoy this beautiful instrument. It's in pretty much mint condition. The only noticeable mark is the little nick out of the top of the headstock. This is visible in one of the photos. Apart from that it's absolutely top notch. I've looked after this, as I have done all my guitars, regularly polishing it and removing any grease marks. As a result, the paintwork is beautiful, the Jetglo black colour reflects almost like a mirror when it's polished up. I recently had the guitar setup, with a low/medium action. The strings are new, it's ready to play. The bridge pickup cover is currently not fitted, I preferred it that way as I found it got in the way of my playing. It is of course included. Also included is the original, mint condition Rickenbacker deluxe Silver Tolex/Purple crushed velvet-lined case. In addition is the case candy: 2 unused keys, allen key, Rickenbacker leaflet, Polishing cloth in original bag, and an unused truss rod adjustment tool. I'm based in Peterborough.
