Design

The Royal Mint is launching the new designs for the United Kingdom's coinage and to mark the occasion a limited-edition Base Metal Brilliant Uncirculated Collection is available, giving collectors the opportunity to own a piece of numismatic history.
The seven new coins are struck in their circulating alloys to a Brilliant Uncirculated standard a higher quality than the coins for circulation. They are housed in a beautifully illustrated presentation folder telling the story of the recent competition for the new designs and containing a profile of the winning designer. Just 100,000 sets will be available for collectors around the world.
