Pirelli has launched its 2008 calendar in Shanghai. This, the 35th edition of the calendar, was shot entirely in Shanghai and is titled 'Pearls of the Orient"

The calendar was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and features eleven models from different countries. This is Demarchelier's second calendar. He previously photographed the 2005 edition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
