Special one-season style black Majestic 2009 New York Mets number "62" alternate jersey worn by Bobby Kielty , featuring the infamous Citi Field Inaugural Season patch, worn to commemorate the opening of the Mets post-Shea home and pulled only a few weeks into the season. It's sewn on the right sleeve of an awesome blacked-out jersey highlighted by a pitch black Cool Base mesh shell, thread and buttons as well as triple-tackle "dazzle type" identifiers, with all correct styling and identifiers for Kielty, Mets and 2009 season. Of special note is the uniform number and nod to the expansion Mets first season, 1962. Classic scripted " Mets " is sewn across front in blue-on-white-on-orange twill with Kielty's " 62 " sewn below and on back, and "KIELTY " sewn directly to shell in same format. Also features classic skyline logo patch sewn on left sleeve and bold blue piping accenting neck, button path and cuffs. Correct " Majestic Size 48" label is affixed to front tail with interior seam tag stating, "SET 1 2009". Displays moderate use with great aesthetics - the patches alone are worth the admission to this auction. Please see all photos.
