2009 American Gold Eagles The most popular gold bullion coin, fresh from the mint. This is an auction for one $50 (1-oz) coin. The American Eagle gold bullion coin series began back in 1986. The obverse design (considered by many to be the most beautiful coin ever made), was the work of Augustus Saint-Gaudens and originally graced the $20 Double Eagle from 1907-1933. The reverse pictures a nest and family of eagles. All the coins I sell are in Brilliant uncirculated condition and come straight from original mint tubes. I have coins being delivered to me each week. These will be shipped to me the second week of November and will be shipped fully insured by Express mail at the U.S. Post Office for fast, overnight delivery.
