You are bidding on a set of THE BIBLES for the stamp hobby. This is a nearly new, somewhat used set of the 2009 Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogues, volumes 1 to 6, covering postal history from around the world, countries of A to Z. ALSO INCLUDED in addition to the six volume world set is the SPECIALIZED catalog of U.S., Confederate, U.N. and more. These books are crammed with thousands of pages of stamp facts from around the world , including the USA. The all-important Specialized Catalogue of Stamps & Covers (1,028 pages) features U.S., U.N., and Confederate material, as well as postage, air post, plate blocks, first day covers, postal stationery, essays, proofs, computer vended postage, 19th century carriers and locals, booklets, revenue stamps, telegraph stamps, and MORE!! Volume 1 is 1,294 pages large and it covers countries from A-B (Afghanistan to Burundi), as well as featuring a U.S. section at the front of the book. Volume 2 (1,390 pages huge) explores countries from C-F (Cameroun to French West Africa). Volume 3 is 1,312 page big and details stamps from countries from G-I (Gabon to Ivory Coast). Volume 4 covers the countries from J-O (Japan to Oman) and is a hernia-inducing ginormous 1,606 pages. Volume 5 lists stamps from the nations of P-Sl (Pakistan to Slovenia) and is a robust 1,224 pages. The final book in the set, Volume 6, closes out the alphabet, reporting on countries from So-Z, South Africa to Zimbabwe. It charts at 1,222 pages. These books are like new condition; that is to say, they are almost new but because of corner dings and nicks they are obviously not straight off the bookstore shelves. You're getting a nearly $490 value (that's what the books sell for when new all together), and aside from a few ovious corner dings, these are imperceptible from new books. Opening bid is $9.99; Priority Mail flat rate shipping and handling are $21.90 since it will require two boxes (I can use commemorative stamps if you desire!). Thanks for looking. I ship only to contiguous 48 states. Don't bother if feedback is under 10.
