Introducing our Industry Workhorse microscope. This model has a wide field of view of up to 44mm wide and a working distance range of up to 7.9 inches. Demo Videos: to take a look. Due to video compression, quality has been reduced to fit the file on the Internet): Some of the images in this listing have not been cropped or manipulated but are of actual "raw" unedited images to show actual results from the microscope. You can obtain even better results "post-production" if you edit and manipulate your image to suit your needs. Start taking images like these (this is a Cubic Zirconia ring)... The image above and the image below were taken just minutes after installing the camera and the included easy-to-use software CD (notice the depth of field)... The microscope is in the shape of a handheld pen with a focus dial at the fingertip, which takes a little bit of force to move so as to not change the focus too dramatically at once. It feels like a big marker.. Images are easily seen on your computer (big screens are even better, of course) instead of through an uncomfortable rubber eyepiece... When you have your subject in focus, just click your mouse to capture a photo or even record video (select the "Video" tab in the software instead of the "Picture" tab). No more memory cards to put in and take out. It connects to your computer with a USB cable. Your images are instantly placed on your computer, requiring fewer steps and less time than camera connections. You can even add a helpful caption to your photo to keep your work organized. Some small font text is seen at the top left of this photo with a time and date stamp at the bottom left as well... are some photos of the microscope in action. Notice the LED lights... The listing price is for one microscope and a small black cradle to store the microscope upright, and a video/image capture software program CD. If you shop around and try to find a similar video/image capture program it would cost $40 to $50, and wouldn't have all of our program’s unique features. are some more examples of what we captured within minutes of installing the microscope for the first time (the two photos shown below). Even better results can be achieved by using diffuse translucent light. Natural light is best but photo studio lights with diffusers can work great. You can also adjust the exposure settings, manual color balance and brightness controls, etc. But these images were taken starting out with an automatic setting without using diffuse lighting, etc. Recently, a customer asked if we could take a closer look at the half carat diamond featured in our demo video. are four close-up shots of that same diamond: You can see tiny inclusions and flaws on your PC monitor and save them as a photo.Coin Collectors: Below are some photos of two different silver half dollars that are NGC certified (slabbed). The Kennedy Half Dollar is PF 70 Ultra Cameo and the Franklin is PF 67. Proofs, being mirror-like, reflect a lot of light. Diffused light is best but wasn't used on these quick shots. The microscope is a nice tool, especially if you want to talk about coins to a group and display the image on a computer projector screen so everyone can see what you're talking about. Small details can be looked at for a long period of time instead of straining over a traditional microscope or trying to look through a cumbersome loupe. These half dollars are seen through NGC plastic holder windows. Unfortunately, if your slabs have scratches on the windows they might show up in your photos. Take close-up photos, and even videos, of your precious coins, stamps, jewelry, metalwork, gemstones, biology, bank notes, watch movements, computer repair parts, art and more. The photos below highlight different magnifications, 50X and 200X. is a still photograph of a $...
