2010 Australian Lunar Tiger 1/10-oz GEM BU Gold Coin New Series 2 This auction is for a new 2010 1/10-ounce Brilliant Uncirculated Gold Lunar Tiger from Australia. This coin is based on the ancient Chinese Lunar Calendar. The Perth Mint's Australian Lunar gold bullion coins are legal tender and bear the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The reverse design of the 2010-dated Year of the Tiger gold coin depicts the head of a Tiger . This coin is approximately the size of a U.S dime and contains 1/10-ounce of 0.9999 pure gold. This is one of the NEW Lunar series (Series 2) of coins being issued by the Perth Mint. The coin comes in a protective plastic capsule directly from the Perth Mint.
