For your consideration and up for auction is my 2010 Focus Izalco Team Milram 3T frame. Pristine with only 587 miles on it. It's in exceptional condition. Better than any "demo" you would find in a bike shop. I really like this frame... a lot. Of all the frames I've ridden, (Look, Cervelo, Cannondale, and Trek) it's one of the best. The former Team Milram rode this exact spec'd frame last year. ABOUT THE FRAME: The Izalco Team MILRAM “A” level frame, is a sub-1000g high-modulus carbon frame (size 56); even this light, it provides a stable, dependable platform for performance road riding and racing. The Bottom Bracket enables optimal large-sized chain stay, seat tube and down tube connections, ensuring a more direct conversion of pedal energy. FOCUS produces all frames including the bottom bracket in one piece. This leads to a crease-free and controlled manufacturing process. After hardening, the core bearing house is glued in place – a well-proven process. The entire production and marketing take place in Cloppenburg. Germany is known for quality and precision manufacturing worldwide. T hanks to the trapezoidal chainstay in connection with the flattened, lentoid seat stays, rigidity and comfort aren’t mutually exclusive anymore. Particularly on long rides this is a real convenience. Most FOCUS bikes allow the use of wide tires. This allows cyclists to determine and enhance their comfort and rolling characteristics. The frame’s tunnel – a cable conduit connected to the main cables – unites an elegant look with optimal practicality. This means more torsional stiffness and ensures that arduous internal cable replacement is a thing of the past. Less bending also reduces friction, enabling direct gear change and braking. The BB30 system complements the hollow chamber technology by using a large-sized quill shaft and oversized industrial bearings. Hence the frames get more lightweight, more stiff and become more efficient. In addition BB30 provides more room for rider’s feet – the so called U-factor. The Stable Stiffness Per Size (SSPS) system is one of the major strokes of genius of the FOCUS product managers. In the past every aluminium frame had the same tube dimensions. Now – due to SSPS – the tube dimensions grow with the frame’s size. That means more rigidity and better performance that equals a rider's weight and height. The flat seatstays flow, without changing their cross-section, into the chainstays. This allows a stiff and rigid fitting of the back wheel. Thus the back wheel is mounted in its own frame. This delivers higher lateral stability and higher riding comfort at the same time. ABOUT THE FORK: The fork is an all-carbon-fiber FUNDA PRO. You get a stronger, lighter front end that tracks true and delivers perfect handling. The fork blades are a highly evolved, asymmetric aerofoil to smooth airflow and reduce wind drag at speed.
