2011 Chickasaw Silver Bullion Coin 1 Bullion Coin General Coin InformationThe 2011 Chickasaw Silver Bullion Coin is the 5th strike released by the US Mint in 2011 as part of the America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin™ Program. It honors Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Featured on the reverse of the coin is a design emblematic of Chickasaw National Recreation Area which is located in Oklahoma. The area was originally established as Sulphur Springs Reservation in 1902 from 640 acres of land sold to the national government by the Chickasaw Indian Nation. Obverse Design The inscriptions of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," " LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "QUARTER DOLLAR" should be found on the obverse along with a portrait of George Washington, the first President of the United States.
