It combines the benefits of a cambered board (most boards) with the playful loose feeling tip and tail of a reverse cambered board. A traditional cambered board loads energy when you step on the board, giving you potential for pop. It also gives you a full affective edge, allowing your board to carve and turn at speed. A reverse cambered board is shaped like a banana and has rocker. When you step on the board, it doesn't load with energy. It has much looser, playful ride and works for jibbing and powder, but you lose all of the benefits of a cambered board, including a longer affective edge. Triple base combines the benefits of both of these types of camber. You get the benefits of camber like pop, affective edge, carving, traversing and speed. You also get the benefits of rocker boards like a playful nose and tail. On top of that, the TBT is super forgiving and you catch less edge. That's good for everyone. YEAH 4 IT!
