2010-2011 BurtonMethod 158cm Retail Value : $1,499.95 BOARD DETAILS In search of the next level in weightlessness and performance, we gave our R&D team free reign to explore exotic materials and constructions never before considered for snowboarding. When the smoke cleared, the Method™ was born and introduced our lightest composite board matrix to date. Pushing the envelope even further, this year’s addition of Flying V™ means the best of rocker and camber combined for a ride that’s unlike anything you’ve felt before it. Features: Flying V Rocker : Cambered underfoot and Reverse throughout. The best of both worlds, for the most versatile ride. Excellent edge hold on hard pack, and floats in the pow. Alumafly Core : Aluminum honeycomb core. 90% air by volume. Making it the lightest and most responsive board on the market. Frostbite Edges: Edges extend ½ mm underfoot for added grip on ice. Pro-Tip: Tapered tip and tail thickness for reduced swing weight to make turns quicker. Twin Flex: symmetrical flex on tip and tail. S2 Methodskin : S2 Fiberglass reduces fiberglass layers to give the board that light weight but improved energy transmission Slim Rail: The slim side wall design was created to reduce weight and to add superior edge hold. The honeycomb core had to be cut by laser to achieve such a low profile. (Just another freedom Jake gives the R&D team there at Burton to make the best board on the planet.) Methalon Base: The base material is made from Teflon, making it the fastest base ever created. This board comes with all original stickers , original Leather Board Case, and M6 hardware. I warn you because, there are a lot knock-offs of Burton boards being sold on ebay these days. These knock-off boards have a mate’ finished top-sheet and do not have the original stickers. (just a white sticker on the back of the nose containing the price.) Keep your eyes peeled for fakes. Real methods have a Shiny fiberglass on the top-sheet and have board detail sticker on the back, Flying V-Rocker sticker on the nose, and M6 sticker on bottom channel.
