The total PCGS population for this coin and label is just 191 coins.The obverse design of the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar from 2014 is taken from the original 1964 design done by Gilroy Roberts. Roberts based the profile of JFK on the portrait that had been done for Kennedy's presidential medal.Sculpted by U.S. Mint Sculptor-Engraver, Frank Gasparro, the reverse design was based on the presidential seal. The eagle holds the symbolic 13 arrows and olive branch, with the "E PLURIBUS UNUM" banner in his beak.
