ClassicEvening Gown Barbie This is a Platinum Label Collector Edition Classic Evening Gown Barbie doll that was only available to members of the 2015 Official Barbie Fan Club. She was released on May 21, 2015 and sold out immediately. She is the third doll in Black and White Collection and has a ModelMuse body type, Neutra skin tone and Aphrodite facial sculpt. Designed by Linda Kyaw, her Mattel stock number is CGT31. ' Barbie ® doll made her debut in 1959 with a pretty ponytail and the now classic black-and-white maillot. That famous zebra-print swimsuit reflected all of Barbie ® doll’s sophistication and foretold the inimitable style that would mesmerize us for the next 50 years and beyond. ' Barbie is breathtaking in her stunning evening gown that gives her original black and white motif a fresh interpretation. The form fitting, white satin gown features a dramatic mermaid silhouette. A sheer, black tulle overdress is sleeveless, has a rounded neckline and is heavily adorned with black lace appliques and diamond-like crystals. Her long blonde hair is worn parted on the side and styles into elegant waves. Elaborate, silvery drop earrings and a matching bracelet are her only jewelry.
