It's not often that I come across a complete set that is as beautiful as this one. For auction, a superb twenty piece KPM signed, hand painted, coffee and tea service for eight. The pieces are wonderfully embellished with hand painted flowers front and back and heavily decorated with bright gold trim. The serving pieces have rococo accents, flourishes, etc. as part of their decoration. The saucers have a gently undulating edge. The cups have a 1" wide band of gold trim on their interiors. Included in the auction are: 1 - Tea pot, 10" from spout to handle and approx. 7" tall 1 - Coffee pot, 9" from spout to handle and approx. 9" tall 1 - Creamer, 5" from spout to handle and 7" tall 1 - Covered sugar bowl, 5" from handle to handle and 5" tall 8 - Cup and saucer sets. Cups are footed and measure 3.25" by 3.00". The saucers are 5.75" in diameter (note: only six sets are shown in group photo - you will receive eight sets). The condition of the set is very good. T are no cracks or chips that we can find. T is little to no scratching. T is minor wear on the gold trim, most noticeably on the pots w one's thumb would rest whilst pouring. T are a few small shrinkage fissures on the inside edges of the pot "foot": of no consequence aesthetically or structurally and a result of manufacturing, not damage. Again, this is a truly nice set of KPM - the hand painted floral decoration is very good: clear, crisp, colorful and varied. The shipping and handling cost reflects the care your shipment will receive: over-sized outer carton, double-boxing, and lots of bubble wrap and foam peanuts. Read our feedback - we pack well. We prefer Paypal and will accept checks and money orders as payment. We ship to Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia/N.Z. via USPS Priority Mail only. TERMS OF SALE : 1. We ship orders within 48 hours of receving payment. Payment is expected within seven days of the auction closing. 2. Our preferred method of shipment is USPS Priority Mail for domestic customers. Prioriity Mail is required for all International shipments . For very small, non-breakable items we may recommend USPS First Class mail or Media mail. For very large and/or bulky items we may recommend alternative carriers. We will always work with the winning bidder to ship according to their specifications. If proper packing of an item or items requires an outer carton that exceeds USPS Priority Mail size limits for "Package or Thick Envelope", and tby triggers a surcharge, we reserve the right to substitute Parcel Post as the shipping method. 3. This auction has a $5.00 handling charge reflected in the total shipping cost. 4. For most breakable items we recommend the winning bidder purchase insurance. While we do an excellent job of packing items (read our feedback), occassionally the USPS will break an item. We will not be responsible for damage to uninsured items. 5. For items being returned we will refund the purchase price only once the returned item is received and inspected. 6. For items being returned due to misrepresentation in the listing - a rare event - we will refund purchase price and the original shipping costs once the returned item is received and inspected.
