I'm very excited because I went jewelry shopping today, for the first time in months. So please stay tuned for a lot more jewelry, that I'll be listing on 5 day auctions; all to end together next Thursday evening. Hope to "see" you then. C:)~ Dated to- All of these pieces are our Harry's new/old stock, which were stored in 2 suitcases, in the mid 1920's when Harry retired, for reasons of health. Measurements- T is no ruler or coin in this picture! Can you believe that?? I can't either. OK, well for scale, that gorgeous center brooch, a water lily landscape, is 1 3/4" across. The 3 rectangular lingerie pins are 1 1/8" long. These measurements can give you an idea of scale. Composition- The center pins are all totally hand painted and kiln fired porcelains, set on brass C clasp findings. The lingerie pins are kiln enamel on brass, and all of the abalone and maube pearls are set in sterling. Condition- All mint new/old stock from the 1920's. Other comments- I remember the day my friend and consignor acquired Harry's stock. She was so excited, I had to go over to her store right away! And when I saw the treasure that she found, I could understand her jubilation.
