UNITED STATES 20th CENTURY FANCY CANCEL COVER. Worth, Illinois - PEACE / NOV 11 1930. Noting the November 11 holiday now known as Veterans Day, then as Armistice Day. I'm breaking up a nice group of U.S. 20th Century Fancy Cancellation Covers. With the covers were a copy of a good article on these, from the American Philatelist of January 1980, and a clipping from Linn's, April 2007, about a Weiss auction where a large amount of these covers were sold as a group. Also a one page discussion of these covers. I've scanned this material and I'm showing it below, for everyone's information. I'm not sending copies with each cover though. CONDITION: Fine. Reduced at left. Some wear and toning.
