My grandfather, Herbert H. Dowd, served during the Spanish American War. He was stationed in the Phillipines. He was with Company K, 6th US Infantry. He was an avid photographer and took and developed many pictures during the war. Up for bidding is this group of 21 actual photos. 4 photos are 5 X 7, 17 photos are 4 X 5. The photos are in very good condition considering their age, t is some discoloration. Most of the photos are described in his hand on the back of the photo.
