Hello. Welcome to my listing. For yourconsideration is an EXQUISITE French antique reproduction Bru 14 by doll artist Jamie Englert, signed "Jamie" and dated 3/2012. Ms. Englert is a Millie-winner, instructor, magazine contributor and well-loved doll artist. Her dolls are wonderfully painted with precision and charm. This striking French bebe has a French composition body with Bru forearms and hands that is in very good condition. She has fixed Blue glass English eyes and a blonde mohair wig that is pinned to a styrofoam pate. Her features are beautifully painted, and her complexion is gorgeous with rosy cheeks and two-toned lips. Her ears are pierced. She is dressed in a fabulous dress that is loaded with exquisite detailing, including fine cotton laces, silk ribbon, pin-tucking and machine embroidery. The dress is made from mauve silk. She also wears white cotton undies including a full slip with a square neckline, pantaloons (elastic has lost its stretch), ecru stockings, and ecru French-stye shoes. Her gorgeous hat is made using a finely woven straw base with ecru lace, lovely vintage flowers, and satin ribbon. She is absolutely breathtaking!
