I have been collecting Predictas for many years. I now have acquired a very large number of select sets representing all the Predicta models. I have repaired TV sets for over 50 years , including the Predictas..All of my predictas go through the following, prior to putting on e-bay for sale. 1. Chassis is cleaned using a very unique cleaning technique. 2.All tubes including the picture tube are tested and replaced as necessary. 3.All electrolytic capacitors are always replaced. All other capacitors are replaced except for micas and they are changed if the value has changed. 4. All resistors are checked for in tolerance and replaced if necessary. 5.The television is aligned using the sweep generator and marker generator system and the picture is adjusted using a test signal image. 6. Entire cabinet is cleaned and repaired and refinished only if necessary. I want to keep the original finish if at all possible. 7. All brass fittings are replated if necessary. 8. A 75 ohm to 300 ohm antenna transformer is included with each set in order for you to use it on your cable or satellite system. 9. I burn all sets in for at least 8 hours prior to shipping. I will always be available via e-mail or telephone so you may call me with your questions or problems. 10. Because of being a fragile antique electronic device, no warranty is expressed or implied. However, I will do my best to help you get this wonderful art deco set up and running. The pictures provided are of the actual set you will be buying. It is playing on rabbit ears antenna and tuned to a local station in Oklahoma City.I would rather have you pick this set up as it will have to be taken apart and mailed in two boxes. You will then have to put it back together with the instructions provided. Not too hard, but if you don't have electronic experience can be a challenge. If you do want shipped, packing will be done by a professional and I will ship the method you ask. .Shipping for both boxes will run between $150.00 and $200.00, depending on w you live. Total cost will be provided after the auction ends. I accept paypal and cashiers checks only. Acknowledge purchase within 3 days and pay within 5 days.Again local pickup is recomended and you can see my Predicta Museum.
