1/21 Scale Martin M-130 China Clipper Plans, Templates and Instructions You are bidding on a new set of plans for a 1/21 Scale Martin M-130 China Clipper . It includes the Plans and templates/patterns for cutting the parts for this great flying model. Building instructions are also included. It would make a great project for converting to electric. It is built of conventional balsa and ply. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. These plans are in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment. PLEASE NOTE: ECONOMY SHIPPING = PLANSFOLDED AND SHIPPED IN A LARGE ENVELOPE EXPEDITED SHIPPING = PLANS ROLLED AND SHIPPED IN A TUBE - (RECOMMENDED) The Martin M-130 was a commercial flying boat designed and built in 1935 by Glenn L. Martin Company in Baltimore, MD, for Pan American Airways. Only three M-130s were built: the China Clipper the Philippine Clipper and the Hawaii Clipper . A fourth flying boat (designated as M-156 ) called the Russian Clipper was built for the Soviet Union which was essentially identical to the three Pan Am models except that it had a larger wing (giving it a longer range) and twin vertical stabilizers.
