DESCRIPTION I've picked up some great things at estate sales lately, so please check my other auctions. I've also torn down the old barn to build a new one to house my eBay business and the less I have to move the happier I'll be! Accordingly, I'll be selling lots of items at prices below what I paid. This 22 piece dessert set was made in German by Hutschenreuther. The shape is Olivia. Most of the pieces have a Schmid gold stamp over the maker's mark. Schmid is an exporter of porcelain goods. The set includes six 7 3/4" plates each with a different fruit/nuts designs, including apple and berries, grapes and walnuts, pears and figs, peaches and cherries, quince and filberts and pineapple and strawberrys. The six cups have the same designs. The six saucers each have strawberries, figs and grapes. The 10 1/2" cake plate is decorated with grapes and walnuts. T's a 5" covered sugar and a 4" creamer. This set is in excellent condition with the exception of one cup that has a rim chip and resulting hairline, as shown. Replacement value on one salad plate is $29.99. The cost of a 17 X 13 X 13 purchased box ($2) is include in the shipping rate. Often I'll find a box that will accomodate a larger shipment, and that being the case, shipping will be less. In the unlikely event of that happening, I will gladly refund the auction price and initial shipping cost. Buyer's remorse doesn't count! No returns will be accepted on items sold "as is." SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES The last change in postal rates resulted in a HUGE increase in sending priority mail boxes out of zone, especially in boxes that are larger than a #7 box. I do not pack items until they have a winning bid, but I do weigh them and attempt to estimate the boxed shipping weight. Please use the postage calculator to ESTIMATE what the shipping costs will be. If insurance is required on an item, that amount will be included in the estimate.
