The rack for sale in this auction is a 22 Space (38 1/2") rack with approx 19 3/4" of depth from the the front of the rack rails to the back lid when closed. The rack rails are recessed back approx 1 /38" - 1 1/2" to allow for knobs and handles on the equipment mounted on the rails. These new racks are stocked in both 1/4" & 3/8" plywood with a heavy PVC laminate on the outside and a stained inside. The lids are laminated on BOTH sides for rigidity and cosmetics. The complete perimeter is surrounded and riveted with a unique custom made aluminum extrusion with a built in track to accept the lids and hold them securely and flush to the front and back of the rack shell. Strong polyethylene flexible swivel tabs are used to keep the lids on and will NOT break off. All recessed handles (1, 2, OR 4 depending on size of rack) are used on these cases. Caster Kits and rear rack rail kits are also sold as an option. All 1/4" racks come with flat steel corners and all 3/8" racks come with heavy gauge ball corners.
