Based on Greenberg's. 2289WS or 823 Super O Contents: 736 Berkshire steam locomotive with headlight, smoke, and Magnetraction; 2046W streamlined whistle tender; 3359 operating twin-bin dump car; 394-275 State of Maine operating boxcar; 3361 operating log car; 6430 flatcar with vans; 6427 Lionel Lines porthole caboose; twelve curved, three straight, and one insulated straight track; 39-20 operating packet. Comments: The old reliable 2-8-4 Berkshire was given the honor of being the "first to make the run on Super O track. The set carton was a recolored basketweave design with new graphics that was introduced exclusively for Super O. The engine was boxed in a Revised carton, while the tender and the balance of the components came in Late Classic boxes. Unfortunately, the rolling stock was all repeat items, and the only major variable with this set was that the 6430 most often came with white rather than gray Cooper-Jarrett vans.
