Blenko "Tangerine" hand-blown art glass #6212 decanter, designed in 1962 by Wayne Husted (Blenko Design Director 1953-1963), 23" overall height x 7-1/2" diameter (base alone 12-1/2" H, stopper when removed 13-1/4" H), pontil mark, circa 1960's. The decanter is in clean and excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The bottom of the decanter has a pattern of impressions original to manufacturing, visible in photo #8. The decanter features a bulbous body on a pedestal base and a long neck topped with a hollow flame stopper. A beautiful and striking piece to add to your collection and/or to compliment your mid-century decor.
