For your consideration a set of 23 inch tall back painted portrait vases circa 1890. Serves? Moser? These vases are glass, painstakingly painted inside. They have brass metal inserts to protect the inside of the glass. The vases have a circumference of approximately 27 around the widest part. The glass is without any chips or cracks. The portraits are beautiful and artfully done of two beautiful young women. There is some peeling of the paint on both vases. There is slight peeling on the portrait edge and a couple of places where the paint is no longer on the glass. One of the vases has bubbling in the paint around the rim of the portrait and at the top in the gold area. This does little to detract from the amazing beauty of these uniques vases. The faces themselves are both intact. The cobalt and black painting around the vase is in good condition. Professional shipping required.
