23 Original snapshot 5" by 3 1/2" photographsfrom Vero Beach, spring training (bring on the sun!)Brooklyn Dodgers, 1951Overall condition is very good to excellentthree or four have light corner creasing,all have great gloss,most are free of creases.We are able to date this to 1951 seasonafter cross-referencing theidentifiable players.Most of the players are identified on reverse of photo.Some are key players for the Dodgers,some spent the season in the high minors,but all were in Vero Beach, spring, 1951.A key to zeroing in on 1951 as opposed to 1950 isthe presence of Bill Voiselle.!951 was his only season in Dodgers organization,played in the minors for Montreal,Here is list:Carl Erskine pitching,Rex Barney pitching,Ralph Branca pitching,Cal Abrams,Billy Cox by batting cage with minor leaguer Bill Antonello,coach Clyde Sukeforth (was involved in the Jackie Robinson signing)1st base coach Jake Pitler,Bobby Morgan,Eddie Miksis,Dick Teed,Bill Voiselle,Clyde King,Tommy Brown and Jim Romano seated in dugout,Chris Van Cuyck,Bruce EdwardsToby AtwellBill McCahan,there are two pitchers not identified on reversebut whose numbers indicate they areIrv Palica and Mal MalletteThere are four photos of unidentified playerswhere you can't see their numbers,perhaps you can ID them from their faces.This is an opportunity to purchasea true group of
