23cm Dresden / Meissen Style Spill Holder Modelled As Girl With Flowers Description : On offer is a good quality large 'blanc de chine' spill holder, modelled as a figure of a girl with flowers and a basket. The flowers in particular are very crisply modelled, and the girl stands on a rocky base with a pierced frieze. There is an underglaze blue crossed sword mark to the base, so certainly in the Meissen / Dresden style. In good condition with minor nibbles to the flowers and some firing flaws as shown. The last photo shows her with the male figure I am also listing. Please refer to photos (all of which enlarge). Dimensions : 23cm (9") high.
