Twenty Four (24) pc Cased .950 Silver French 19th Century Flatware Set Circa 1890's. Heavy Silver Weight. Very Large Spoons and Forks make up this set. Each piece weights 3 ounces X 24 pieces = 72 ounces gross weight. Each peice is marked with the .950 Silver French Minerva and the makers mark is in the triangle lozenge for Hein & Cie, 77 Rue des Archives, Paris, France. Silver set is in superior condition with no damage. NO monograms. Set consists of the following large pieces: 12 spoons each 8 5/8" long and 12 forks 8 1/2" long. Case is in fair antique conditon, the interior has some moth damage to the fabric and is faded, the exterior is also in fair condition, hinges work good so do the locks but it has been worn over the years with scuffs and scratches.
