You are bidding on one rosewood handled razee jointer plane as pictured. It is unmarked except for the double iron, which is marked "BUCK BROTHERS WARRANTED CAST STEEL" on the iron.It does have a beaded detail running along the edges of the plane, which reminds me of European planes.Overall length is 24", the body is 2-3/8" in width, and the iron is 1-7/8" in width. Even though it is a narrow plane, it weighs 4 pounds, with most of that the rosewood. The handle may be rosewood, but is not as dark as the body, which has a great dark color to it. Condition is mostly very good, and it would benefit from a light cleaning. It has a variety of small scratches and some chips in the bead detail, and a chip missing out of the top of the handle. This is one of four similar planes of varying lengths that I currently have listed, and for clarity I have called this one "D" in the title. Please see my other current as well as upcoming auctions, as I am or will be listing many more collectible plane and tools.ETHICS IN DESCRIPTIONS: I also buy for my collecting on eBay, and I have been burned too many times by misleading (duh did I forget to mention .......) descriptions, and pictures only of the left side when the right side was trashed. Life is much simpler for me if I disclose what I know or see about an item before you bid, and especially before you receive it in the mail. I sell lots of parts, and if you are nervous that I am swapping parts, please understand two things about me. One, I never seem to have the part I need, so t aren't many opportunities, and two, if I have swapped anything, I will tell you. If I think the wedge on a molding plane is not original, I will tell you. If I think a japanned plane has been repainted, I will tell you. What goes around, comes around. RETURN POLICY: I believe that if you give honest descriptions, and include enough pictures, you shouldn't need a return policy. However, that doesn't mean that I won't make an occasional mistake. Please bid with the assurance that if I have made an error in my listing, I WILL take care of you. The good news is, and this will probably jinx it, I haven't gotten anything back in a long time.US SHIPPING: Unless noted otherwise above, the fixed amount quoted buys you INSURED Priority Mail to anyw in the US. I will combine on multiple purchases to save on shipping whenever possible (see below), and I accept Paypal or money orders. On purchases under $50, AND if you have good feedback, I will also accept a personal check. COMBINED SHIPPING: If you are thinking about bidding on several items, especially small but heavy items like tools, I can often ship 2 or 3 or 4 items for not much more than one. The trick is whether or not I can use one of the Flat Rate Priority Mail boxes from the US Post Office. The cost is fixed, except for insurance, no matter what the weight, and no matter w in the US you are. These boxes are not huge, and a #7 or #8 plane won't fit, but I can just get TWO #6's or 3 #4's or a bunch of block or molding planes into one box. Even with the new postage rates, $10.00 will cover the postage and $50 insurance to anyw in the US, and leave me 60 cents towards the cost of bubble wrap and peanuts and tape. And $12.00 would cover the postage and $200 insurance. That can really bring the shipping cost per item down. T are savings on shipping several large items as well, obviously, although not as much as with the Flat Rate boxes. If you have questions about shipping multiple items, please ask. Also, on multiple purchases, eBay can't figure the combined shipping automatically. Instead, I have to go in and manually change each invoice. Sometimes, if I am not home, or if it is going to be close as to whether it will all fit into a Flat Rate box, it may take me a bit to figure out what the shipping charges will be. If you pay right away, and pay the multiple shipping charges, I will refund the overage. BIDDING ON AUCTIONS ENDING ON DIFFERENT DAYS: if you are thinking about bidding on items that...
