Over six rolls of Buffalo Nickels. Not culls. Some from the teens, many from the twenties and most from the thirties. All from an old collection I bought last week. Less than ten dateless, some almost uncirculated, hundreds of mixed Buffalo Nickels. I just bought a collection that had been put away since 1981 when the collector passed away. I bought it from his daughter in Colorado. There were five books of Buffalo nickels, one complete, the others partial. There were also rolls of nickels. Many of these were taken from circulation over more than five decades. I went through them and set anything I thought would be worth selling by themselves, these are what is remaining from that collection. If the nickel wasn't worth $15 or more in the red book, it's here in one of the rolls. Count on most of these being from the 30's like most lots, count on some very nice later years. I saw raised mound, I saw over a dozen from the 20's, mostly "good" or AG. I will be listing the better coins in the next few days. Nice nickels, nice variety...no key dates that I saw but over 95% dates readable without magnification, and, no, I haven't counted the exact number of coins. Some rolls look long, a couple look short but there are in excess of 240 coins (six rolls). I did put them on a postage scale and it showed 2 lbs, 14.3 oz. OK, I just counted read more
