A beautiful vintage vase made of out china with 24kt gold applied. These golden china wares were being produced in America in the 1940-1950s. They are so glamorous and very shiny. Most of the time when you see gold on china, it is real gold as it has to be for the firing. So, there are always a lot of gold on these wares. My local antique store in Medford has one of these for sale and it is quite expensive. They do not command the same price on ebay so this one is modestly priced for being so exceptionally beautiful. It is marked on the bottom by the designer, imprinted 04 Dwight Motti (?) and stamped Stouffer Fine China. It measures 6 1/2" tall, the top opening measures about the same across in the front, about 6 1/2" and the middle is 3 1/3" In very good vintage condition, there is just one tiny flea bite at top, which you may be able to see in the last photo, but it is so small, it is almost undected unless you are looking for it.
