This listing is for a 24kt Solid Gold coin . It is a miniature commemorative St. Gaudens with beautiful and stunning detail. It's sealed in a protective case. I did open the case to take the pictures but did not touch the coin itself. I tried to get an accurate weight on it using the following method: I opened the case, leaving the coin in one half. Weighed the half with the coin, and the half without the coin and subtracted the difference. It appears to be 1.5 grams as far as I can tell using that method. I am currently using a borrowed scale so the weight given is as accurate as I have the ability to give it. Remember this is 24kt with no added alloys. It is pure gold. I actually have 4 of these and would be willing to give a discount if all 4 are purchased by the same buyer. It will be refunded via pay pal, please contact me for a listing for all 4. I sold one a few years ago, and the buyer was extremely happy with their purchase. There is a sticker around the coin case that states that it is 24kt miniature St. Gaudens. I believe I purchased these from Collectors Mint, along with some solid sterling WWII commemoratives over 10 years ago. I will warranty the gold as being 24kt. You can return it, in it's original condition within 7 days after receiving it, if it is not 24kt solid gold. You must contact me before mailing it, and it must have delivery confirmation. Return shipping is buyers responsibility. Again, it must be in the same condition you received it. It's never been outside it's case. When I did the photos, I left the coin in one half of the case and was very careful not to even come close to touching it, as touching coins can lead to discoloration and being devalued over time. Wiping coins off, leads to scratches. Especially on a metal as soft as pure gold, so it will show if you try it. The case and sticker must be intact, and there can be no scratches or blemishes of any kind to the coin or case. I took many more pictures than the ones shown to document the condition of the coin, so I could warranty it's gold content and condition. If it arrives in less than the exact condition as it left here, I will return it to you and no refund will be given. Keeping coins away from any type of contanimation or touching another object, even a finger tip, is absolutely a priority to keep them from being devalued. I have described the condition and weight of this listing to the very best of my ability. I am not a coin dealer or a pawn shop owner, and have no training in collectables or jewelry of any kind. I have no other way to gain information on an item, except visual identification, paperwork (If I have any) and the weights based on a neighbors scale. When I buy a new scale of my own, I will have that in the listing. I do not have equipment to test metals for their purity, and use the physical markings present to describe the item.
