ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next couple weeks we will be auctioning off some very fine examples out of our private collection. We also start everything off nice and low always under 20.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Superb c1880 24pcs Victorian Silver and Mother of Pearl Handled Dessert Set with Original Fitted Case. The Dessert Set is part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The set is one of the finest period examples we have seen. The set also has Very Fine Solid Mother of Pearl handles that have been Hand Carved in a great Wythern Twisted design which I believe would take great skill, and alot of time. The Fork and Knife ends are also finely Bright Cut decorated as you can see. The Set is also in very fine original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs to the handles, and very litttle to no wear to the fork, and knife ends. The Blade ends are marked RW&Co. The Set is also complete with all 24pcs in place. The Set is also a nice size for use with the forks measuring 6 1/2 inches long, and the knives 8 inches long. The Original Fitted Case it also in nice orignal condition with no cracks, bends, or repairs. The Case measures 11 1/4 inches long, by 9 1/4 inches wide, and sits 2 inches tall. The Plaque on the top of the Case has also not been monogrammed which is nice if you want to gift the set, or personalize it for yourself. This is Serving Dessert is style! I have no idea what the 24pcs Victorian Silver Mother of Pearl Dessert Set would be worth. You do not see to many as nice come up for auction, and with no damaged handles, and No Reserve! As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
