You are bidding on one (1), 1/25 scale '33 Willys Van (I chopped the top and removed the fenders) body with a custom built in-line drag slot car chassis manufactured specifically for this car. This auction is for the BODY and bare CHASSIS ONLY (see 2nd photo - does NOT include wheels/tires, axle, bushings). The gallery photos are a "built-up roller" to show what the car build out could look like, one of many options. The body is NOT mounted to the chassis - you will need to privide body mounts (pin tubing - EASY). Basic model car and/or slot car building skills will be beneficial. A great foundation for a really sharp drag slot car - add your favorite wheels/tires, motor, chassis parts and details. Would look awesome as a GASSER or put it down in the weeds. Do it up the way YOU want!! The styrene model car kit body comes with window templates w/clear plastic for flat glass (not shown in photo). The bent-wire frame chassis was fabricated in a drag chassis jig to be flat, with all axles perpendicular to the chassis centerline. All soldered joints and chassis are cleaned of flux (to prevent possible corrosion) and then everything is polished. This chassis is set up for 1 1/16" dia. rear tires and 7/8" dia. front tires (as shown in "mock-up" photos) but can be adjusted to accept other sizes.
