This Auction is For ( 25 ) Circulated Transit Token. Municipal Railway S.F. in Front. And on the other side Reads One Fare San Francisco. Showing No#98 Bought Token in an estate sale the seller told me there were in their father's dresser drawer he said his father Collected Transit Tokens and used to Ride the San Francisco Municipal Railway Transit System. They are no Longer Circulating these Token to the Public to buy for a Ride on the S.F. Municipal Railway Transit System. They are only given out to the Needy or the Homeless for they can Ride the Railway. And soon they'll be out of Circulation because the new way to pay to Ride Transit in San Francisco is with Cash or the New Clipper Card. And if you can get a hold of these Tokens you have part of One History item of San Francisco Transit System. Imagine the Last Transit Token made to Ride the System. Please see photos for more detail.
