This is a medium size lot of 250 partial date old buffalo nickels -- Over 6 full $2 rolls! These were minted during the 1913 to 1938 time frame. Nickel slot machines were popular in the "Roaring Twenties" and what better to have in your "period correct" slot machine than "period correct" coins! None have been restored or acid treated to enhance the date area. "Partial date" means that one to three digits of the date are showing. A random sample of 50 coins showed 8 to be mintmarked so statistically this group should contain about 16% mintmarked coins. These would be great for your vintage (or antique) nickel slot machine and would add a little nostaglia and a little more realism! The coins in the scans are the exact coins you will receive --- I do not use "stock" photos in any of my listings! None are bent so they should work just fine without jamming up your machine's coin mechanism. None are "culls" (dark, holed or pitted) or have restored (acid treated) dates. These are also great for promotional handouts, advertising and flea market sellers! Just nice, clean, partial date buffalo nickels.I can guarantee that somewhere, sometime these coins have been searched. "Unsearched" and "old bankwrapped rolls" are the biggest lies in the coin business and on eBay. The coins pictured are the actual coins you will receive... no "stock" photos read more
